Parenting By The Minute: A Savory Sunday

Sunday morning was positively glorious at our house this week.  The boys started the day by crawling in bed with me and giving me lots of sweet snuggles.

We went downstairs and we cooked some waffles while Nora Jones sang sweetly in our ears.  While sitting in a sunbeam, I cradled a steaming cup of coffee and watched my boys play together so sweetly.

There are certain moments of life that I wish I could just freeze and keep forever.  This was definitely one of those moments.  Everything just seemed perfect.

Hold On To Those Moments

When those pristine parenting moments grace your home, hold onto them!  Cherish them, savor them, file them away in a special place in your memory so you can pull them out later in life.

As you focus on these moments on the more chaotic and stressful moments of parenthood, somehow it makes it easier to make it through those tough times.

60 Second Strategies

As you go through this week, take a minute and really savor those sweet moments with your kids.  Give your kids an extra hug and kiss and make sure they know how much you love them.
